Thanks for your interest in my informal photo classes that concentrate on the main points that most photographers of all levels often have questions about. My goal is to cover subjects such as:
1)Camera operation in manual and automatic modes.
2)How to make the camera see what you want it to see, composition.
3)The differences between digital and film, pros and cons.
4)Shooting images outdoors and indoors and the differences between the two at the camera level.
5)Downloading your images and backing up files.
6)Selecting and editing your images.
7)Printing: Correct color, Profiles, printers, papers
8)Archiving your prints and storing your digital files safely.
These subjects will take place over a Saturday morning for the pre-shoot class, and then we will move outdoors for the actual shooting where we will go to a predetermined location (also weather dependent the day of the shoot, but we shoot rain or shine) to practice what you have learned in the morning. *At the end of the day we will download the images and learn how to select, edit and then prepare images for printing.
*Possibility of doing this part of the class on Sunday during a possible weekend away trip.
What you will need:
1)*Digital camera. You will need to have studied the operation and modes.
2)Computer with at least Photoshop elements.
3)A printer at home that prints in color.
4)Hiking shoes, backpack, warm clothes, water.
5)Your questions
*You will need to let me know what camera you have a week before the class so I can have a brief look at the model and operation.
